I vowed that I wouldn't cook for as long as I can in Poland. And this silly vow is known amongst my friends. However, I am really starting to miss real Chinese food so I broke my vow and made short rib soup(排骨湯) today.

I think short rib soup is one of the easiet dish ever. All you need is short ribs, carrots, radishes some salt. My soup turned out to be a success and one of my friends Yvonne (I was teaching her biophysics), was here to share my little glory.

Now that the news of me actually cooking is out, one group of my friends are asking me to make them some soup later this week (because they were suprised that I cooked). It feels funny to serve them short rib soup because this dish is a no-brainer, but if this is what they want, I'll give them what them want, haha.
